To which microscopes can I attach the Leica EC4?

You can mount the EC4 camera to any Leica compound or stereo microscope with a documentation tube. The Leica EC4 is an ideal tool for our entry level microscopes such as the Leica S6D, Leica S8 APO and DM500. If you need more information, your local Leica representative will be happy to help.

What type of C-mount do you recommend?

We recommend using the 0.5x C-mount adapter for stereo microscopes or the 0.55x C-mount adapter for compound microscopes.

Which Leica software currently supports the Leica EC4?

The camera is supported by LAS EZ 3.2 or higher and Leica Acquire Version 3.2.

What computer operating system is supported by the Leica EC4?

The camera is compatible with Win7 and Win8 software and is designed to simplify the imaging process from capture through to processing.

What comes in the Leica EC4 box?

The box includes the Leica EC4 camera, USB 2.0 cable (2.5 m), Quick Start guide, and Leica LAS EZ software.
