UC Enuity - Basic instrument M80;

Consisting of:

Base Unit with Manual Segment Arc and Knife Block, Control and Processing Unit, Software, Accessories.

Base Unit:

Housing and rigid mechanics, built-in antivibration system, segment arm, drive unit, control electronic, stable microscope carrier for sectioning and observation.

Segment Arm movement:

• Cutting transmission: vibration decoupled gravity stroke
• Cutting window setting: 15 mm total range
• Cutting speed control: from 0.04 - 100 mm/s

Specimen advance control:

0 to 100 in steps of 1 nm;

100 to 2500 nm in steps of 10 nm;

• Return speeds: 10, 30 and 50 mm/s
• Total specimen advance: 200 µm

Knife Stage dual automatic advance system:

• 10 mm knife N-S movement range (motorized)
• 25 mm E-W movement range
• E-W movement control: continuous with wheel or 100 µm distance with step button
• N-S movement control: continuous with wheel or adjustable (0.1-15 µm) with step button

Specimen advance control with knife stage:

100 nm to 2500 in steps on 100 nm

2500 to 50000 nm in steps of 500 nm

Manual Segment arc including:

• Self locking precision drives with ± 22° eucentric sample tilt
• 360° rotation of specimen with self locking drive

Manual Knife block including:

• 360° rotatable, dual sided self locking precision drive
• ±30° graduation, clearance angle adjustment with 1° scale from -2° to over 14°
• Knife holder for 6 – 12 mm glass and diamond knives

Carrier for Leica Stereomicroscope M80:

• Eucentric movement of the stereo carrier: + 5°/ - 8
• Defined knife positions of stereo carrier: for glass and diamond knifes
• 100 mm N-S movement of stereo carrier

Illumination:

• Top-, Bottom- and Transillumination with controllable brightness for specimen and knife area observation

Compatible with Leica UC Enuity Cryochamber for cryosectioning.;

Remote care compatible system with real time monitoring of Service relevant data.;
