Krista Rantanen , Dr
Dr Krista Rantanen has an extensive academic career in the field of cancer research, specifically focusing on oxygen sensing mechanisms. She has completed her Ph.D. with distinction on prolyl hydroxylase function in cancer in 2012. Subsequently she’s been a part of starting a biomedical engineering company and did her postdoctoral period studying kidney cancer. Following this she was appointed as the Director of Development of University of Turku Medical Faculty, Finland.
In 2018 she joined Baker Ruskinn (part of the Baker company) as their Director of Scientific Applications and has pursued in this global role since.
