Youn-Jung Kang , Professor

Youn-Jung Kang

Youn-Jung Kang is an associate professor of the Department of Biochemistry, School of Medicine at CHA University, South Korea. She received her BSc, MSc, and PhD degree from University College London (UK), Imperial College (UK), and University of Oxford (UK), and completed her post-doctoral fellowship at Harvard Medical School. Her current research interests are focused on developing in vitro models of the endometrium using various technologies including organoid generation, organ-on-a-chip, in vivo disease modeling to understand the cellular and molecular mechanisms at maternal-fetal interface and to improve the uterine microenvironment for succesful embryo implantation and pregnancy maintenance.
